Dean Peacock- Managing Principal/Principal-Construction Services
Dean Peacock has been providing design and consulting services to the healthcare industry since 1983, and is managing principal of Peacock Architects, Inc. His experience is founded in the diverse growth and evolution of the healthcare industry. His primary expertise is with providing strategy-based master planning services to a wide range of clients. His strong working knowledge of the healthcare industry provides a critical business perspective to facility related services. He has been instrumental in assisting clients develop comprehensive business strategies that involve extensive facility requirements.
Dean was a project manager with Nix, Mann and Associates for five years prior to establishing Peacock Architects in 1988. He has worked with numerous healthcare clients, including Promina Health System, Atlanta Children's Health System, Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation, and Tanner Health Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is registered as a licensed architect in twelve states- Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. In addition, he is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Dean's construction background dates back to his work as a teen for his father's construction company (WH Peacock Construction Co, Inc) during the summer months. He founded Continuum Inc. in 1989 with an initial focus on senior life developments. In 2009 the firm became Peacock Builders to fully integrate design and construction services for all our healthcare clients. Dean is a licensed General Contractor in Georgia and North Carolina.
Tim Watford- Principal-Design Services
Tim has been providing facility planning services since 1984 as an architect and as part of the leadership team for a highly regarded healthcare system. Since joining Peacock Partnership in 1998, he has headed up the design Studio, orchestrating the planning, design, production, and administration efforts of the design team. Tim is responsible for organizing design teams, developing and maintaining design schedules, overseeing construction documentation, directing project budgets and construction management, and coordinating the efforts of all design team members.
Prior to joining Peacock Architects, Tim served as Director of Facilities Development for the Egleston Children's Health Care System (now Atlanta Children's Healthcare System). He was responsible for system-wide planning, design, construction, property acquisition/management, and leasing for 33 facilities consisting of over 800,000 square feet of space. He was instrumental in guiding the system through program development, site selection and acquisition, facility/equipment planning, and construction management for a network expansion of eighteen facilities for urgent and primary care operations.
Prior to his tenure with Egleston Children's Health Care System, Tim completed over $100 million in healthcare projects as a project architect and associate with Hansen Lind Meyer, Inc, a healthcare design firm in Orlando, Florida. He holds a BS in Architecture and BS in Building Construction from Auburn University. He is registered as a licensed architect in Georgia and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
